FORMER PUPILS AT a Moray school are being encouraged to revisit their formative years by taking part in a reunion event – with their teachers included.

Those who began their secondary education at Lossiemouth High School in 1974 will be 55-years-old this year or early in 2018 – and this is the group being encouraged to join in the reunion fun next month.

Event organiser Shona Cobban would also like to hear from former pupils or staff who may still hold some memorabilia from their school days: “The reunion is being held at Lossiemouth Football Club on May 27 at 6.30pm when we will provide food and entertainment.

“Ahead of the event we are looking for memorabilia – so if anyone has photos or old school magazines if they would please let John Thomson know by Emailing him at john.thomson222@btconnect.com.

“So if organisers Shona Cobban, John Thomson, Alan McIntosh, Laura Lyons, Karen Milton and Duncan Isaac were schoolmates of yours – get booking places and come join us. We are busy preparing to make this the best reunion yet!”

Tickets for the event can be purchased (£10) in advance by contacting Shona on shona1962@outlook.com, she added: “This will be the last one I will personally be involved in organising so I’m hoping for a great turnout. Life is short – so don’t hesitate, just book and come along, enjoy the party and catch up with old friends.”
