Then becoming a Social Care Assistant with Health & Social Care Moray could be the rewarding role you’re looking for.
The integrated partnership has launched a recruitment drive to encourage more people to enter the social care profession and join its Care at Home Service.
Social Care Assistants are on the front line of providing personal care and carrying out support tasks which enable people to continue living in their own homes, reducing and delaying the need for admission to hospital or residential care.
Around 4,500 hours of care are already delivered each week but increasing demand for the service means there is a need to employ more people right across Moray.
Recruitment roadshows will be held in Elgin, Buckie and Rothes next week where interested candidates will have the opportunity to speak to staff to learn more about the role and see the uniform and some of the equipment used. If eligible they can get support to begin the application process and get an interview date.
The recruitment campaign involves social media, advertising and local promotions, with applications open now on the Moray Council section of the myjobscotland online recruitment website: https://www.myjobscotland.gov.uk/councils/moray-council/jobs

The roadshows run from 1.30pm to 4.30pm each day and will be held at: Moray Resource Centre, Elgin, on Tuesday 14 August; Buckie Town House on Wednesday 15 August; Rothes Church Hall on Thursday 16 August.
