Moray Ladies invited to bid for an evening with Robbie Williams

AN IRRESISTIBLE FUNDRAISING team in Elgin are set to launch their latest efforts – and they aim to ensure it takes their fundraising beyond the £10,000 mark.

‘The Gregor Girls’ team of Yvonne Milton and Janice Gregor pushed fundraising to new levels, promoting a series of events in 2016 that raised £9408 for local causes the Logan’s Fund and the Aila Coull Foundation.

Famed for going the extra mile for their causes, Yvonne and Janice have got creative yet again – organising an exclusive ‘Handbags and Gladrags’ for the Ladies this year that they hope and expect to be a sure-fire hit with the ladies.

The September 9 evening is expected to draw in 350 to the Elgin Town Hall – and ahead of the main event on the same day there is a ‘VIP Tipsy Tea’ where a further 80 ladies will attend.

Yvonne said: “With fantastic support once again from many local businesses and people we have a fantastic prize list already and with a great fun night lined up including bingo, party games and lots of dancing.

“We will have lucky squares and raffle competitions coming up soon. But in the meantime we are running an auction with the very kind donations we received from Kim Robertson at Your Way Travel and Andrea & Craig Donald at ACD Executive – two tickets to the Robbie Williams concert at Murrayfield on June 9, complete with luxury chauffeur driven transport there and back.

“These can be won through our first silent auction with a starting bid set at £100 – the winner will not need to worry about transport or accommodation for this fabulous event.”

The auction will remain open until May 31 with the winning bidder named that day, Yvonne adding: “The auction is open to anyone, whether you are coming to our events later in the year or not.

“All bids should be sent by private message to myself or Janice Gregor and will be kept strictly confidential.”
