Moray LEADER seminar to help generate ideas for funding application

Moray LEADER Local Action Group is running a free seminar for potential applicants to generate ideas for projects that could be funded by the LEADER programme. The event will focus on projects related to local services and food supply chains.

The event will take place at Moray College UHI on Friday 28 September, from 11 am to 3 pm.

This seminar will explore and generate ideas for projects with a focus on two of the LEADER objectives:

  • To build stronger local supply chains for Moray food including fish, farm and game products
  • To develop collaborative projects which target the needs of vulnerable households in rural communities particularly related to access to services

Moray Local Action Group member Jacqui Taylor said:

“We want to bring together relevant organisations working in these areas to discuss and share their ideas with a view to developing projects which may be eligible for LEADER funding.

“If you have an idea – no matter what stage it is at – this event is for you. It will give you the opportunity to develop your idea further, perhaps identify other organisations who can help to make it a reality or help you figure out what to do next and how to access the necessary funding.”

The Moray LEADER Team will be on hand to support potential applicants to generate project ideas which can then be developed into funding applications.
